E-MailThe project has been successfully completed.
Since October 2019 a new Horizon2020 project of Carus Consilium Sachsen GmbH (CCS) has started, named GATEKEEPER.
The main objective of the project is to create a trustworthy and open platform, which will invite health and care providers, businesses and elderly citizens from all over Europe to exchange ideas and experiences. This will provide an opportunity to reconcile ideas, user needs and technologies to contribute to a healthier, more independent life for the ageing population. With the expertise of over 40 partners from 14 different European nations, the consortium is broadly based and ready to involve a total of over 40,000 patients from all countries. The project will be supported by the European Commission with a total funding of almost 20 million euros over the entire duration of three and a half years.
In cooperation with the Chair of Business Informatics, especially System Development at the TU Dresden and the Clinic and Polyclinic for Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the University Hospital Dresden, CCS will supervise one of seven project pilots in Saxony. The focus will be on mental health and prevention of violence in the second half of life. In the course of this, the knowledge of the TU Dresden about the design and implementation of treatment pathways will be combined with the skills of CCS. This means: to network and organise health and social service providers in order to achieve better care outcomes.
