Training General Practitioner

The central aim is to maintain the supply of general practitioners close to home by securing the next generation of medical specialists.

Members of the training network Carus Consilium Saxony are family doctors’ offices, hospitals, rehab clinics and established medical specialists who together aim at securing a sound and structured medical specialist further education.

Participation is possible for medical institutions holding the corresponding authorizations and being prepared to follow common quality standards. The basis of the training is a five-year rotation through training stages that correspond to the content and specification of the Saxon State Medical Association.
